Slide Film for a Walk Round Town

Somehow this photo expresses the warm
feeling I always get when I walk in
a Dublin street.

My Dublin

The old walls, the shoppers,
the thought that people have been settled
into a civic way of life here for
more than 800 years.

I used slide film for a few precious photos
recently.

It was worth the extra effort.

And... well... hang the expense...

Lovely shot Maria, it's quite the Dublin shot! I love how the wall brings you into the picture and shopper. Would I be right in saying the shot was taken beside the Garda station/The bleeding horse?

Exactly, Kyle.

I had got off the Luas and was on my way to Gunn's Camera Shop.

There are some very good streetscapes in that area and I'll go back when the weather is warmer.
